High Security has been setup for Athagarh assembly constituency for the bypoll on Sunday. 17 platoons police force, 8 platoons of armed police, 3 platoons of CRPF, 3 platoons of Indian Reserve Battalion and 3 platoons of OSAP have been deployed for this bypoll. Around 80 police officers and more than 300 constables have been monitoring the election process. 184,555 voters will poll at 198 booths in Athagarh. 100 booths declared as sensitive. CCTV cameras have been installed in most sensitive booths. The administration has deployed over 800 polling staff for elections, voting for which will start 8 am to 5 pm.
