On Friday State Govt. of Orissa informed to the High Court of Orissa that it can’t grant compensation to the family members of victims who were died liquor tragedy recently. In an affidavit the additional Secretary of Excise stated that there is no such provision for grant of compensation to the family of victims. He said, “It would be undesirable to condone consumption of liquor from unauthorized sources”.
